DIGIKIDS® just released version v5.0 of its patent-pending Quick Response™ Software on the DIGIKIDS® CD.
In response to the more than 2,000 missing children reported in the United States each day, DIGIKIDS® offers a child safety CD that allows parents to quickly provide law enforcement officials, the media, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and other agencies with two high-resolution digital photos along with medical and identifying information to aid in recovery efforts.

FREE DIGIKIDS® IDs August 29th at Baskin Robbins in Shreveport, LA
DIGIKIDS® Child Safety ID Event to be held August 29, 2009 in the parking lot of Baskin Robbins on Youree Drive in Shreveport, Louisiana. DIGIKIDS® Original Safety ID/CDs will be FREE to the public during the hours of 11:00 to 4:00. This event is called "Pint for a Pint" Community Safety Day. The Lifeshare Blood Donor Bus will be on-site and those donating a pint of blood receive Free Ice Cream thanks to Baskin Robbins. Donors also receive a Special Edition Lifeshare/LSU T-shirt. The Shreveport Police Department and the City Marshal will have displays and officers on-site with attractions for kids of all ages. Huge success at Webb County DA's safety event, TX
Saturday August 1 at Mall del Norte was more successful than we could have imagined. The DA's office donated 100 DIGIKIDS® ID kits and it was such an awesome turnout! They tied it in to the launching of their new mascot "Huggy the Bear" (do hugs not drugs) and had games, school supplies and other gifts. People were standing in line an hour before the event was even scheduled to start! The best thing is that Mr. Alaniz (the DA) was so impressed with the amount of people who wanted their DIGIKIDS® ID kit that he is thinking of doing this AGAIN! How cool is that???
