DIGIKIDS® Child Safety ID Event to be held August 29, 2009 in the parking lot of Baskin Robbins on Youree Drive in Shreveport, Louisiana. DIGIKIDS® Original Safety ID/CDs will be FREE to the public during the hours of 11:00 to 4:00. This event is called "Pint for a Pint" Community Safety Day. The Lifeshare Blood Donor Bus will be on-site and those donating a pint of blood receive Free Ice Cream thanks to Baskin Robbins. Donors also receive a Special Edition Lifeshare/LSU T-shirt. The Shreveport Police Department and the City Marshal will have displays and officers on-site with attractions for kids of all ages.
